One of the most important reasons why lanolin has been used in cosmetology, dermatology, and pharmacy for over a hundred years is its exceptional emollient properties.
Emolients are substances whose task is to improve the condition of the stratum corneum by limiting moisture loss, smoothing the skin surface, and supporting the reconstruction of its natural protective barrier.
